NEW YEARS CARD

Each year, the Cultural Assosiation of Metsovo in Athens share their wishes with their members and friends for the new year ahead. The assosiation's purpose is to aid the village of Metsovo when possible and promote its cultural herritage.

The design of the card carrying the wishes of fortune and prosperity references traditions, folk themes and patterns, local history as well as current issues in the village.

2023 edition

In the year that ended, the Cultural Association of Metsovo in Athens waived farewell to beloved founding members.

Now admitted among the stars, this year’s card subverts a landmark in the centre of the town and turns it into a spaceship: a vessel for carrying and placing the memory of our fellow townsmen at the Ursa Major and Ursa Minor constellations.
